Father, we thank You for allowing us to see another day. We are ever so grateful for Your fresh mercies every morning. Thank You for Your longsuffering and goodness towards us. Though we fall short daily Your compassions fail not.
Who is like You Lord? Your righteousness and mercy reach to the heavens and yet you are mindful of us. Who is like You Lord, who pardons our iniquity and delights in unchanging love? Who is like You? Majestic in holiness. Awesome in praises and working wonders? Who is like you Lord? Who delivers the afflicted. Who comforts us on every side. Who pulls us out of the horrible pit and the miry clay and sets our feet upon a rock. Who works all things out for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Who loves us so much that You gave Your only Son that we should not perish but have everlasting life with You.
Our hearts rejoice with utter gladness, gratitude, and awe for all that You ARE. Your ways are past finding out. The way You love us so, even though we fall short of Your glory is incomprehensible.
Forgive us Lord when we trample on Your grace. Enable us to walk in the Spirit with intentionality. Like a child learning to walk. At first they are very deliberate about their steps. They fall. They get back up. Until one day they walk without even thinking about it. May it be this way for us in the Spirit. We yield to You today and anticipate Your abiding presence. Thank You for Your outstretched arm of mercy, love, and abounding grace. Lead us O God in the way everlasting. In Jesus' name. Amen.
