Wellness Check

Updated: May 12, 2022

Hey there! Just checking in to see how everyone is doing! As always I pray that you are well and that you are keeping the faith. I know it's been a couple of weeks since you've heard from me but know that though I'm absent from these blogging streets you all are not absent in my heart and in my prayers.

Life happens and sometimes you just have to slow down, reprioritize by putting first things first, reflect and seek times of refreshing from the Lord. It's my prayer that you find time to refresh in the Lord and prayerfully seek Him for your every need.

Though life has thrown a couple of curveballs God has continued to show Himself strong in my life and in the lives of those I hold dear. I see His gracious Hand leading, strengthening, healing, and setting things straight and for that, I'm eternally grateful.

A scripture that continues to resonate in my heart is Isaiah 60:1"Arise, shine for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you."

It's in my heart to encourage you to arise! This is not a time to throw in the towel. This is not a time to fall back. This is not a time to bunker down but a time to seek the Lord and rise up! Whatever you may be going through know that God is greater and His great grace abounds.

So let faith arise!

Let hope arise!

Let peace arise!

Let endurance arise!

Let boldness arise!

Let joy arise!

Let your gifts arise!

Let love arise!

Let worship arise!

Let praise arise!

Let your prayers arise as a sweet aroma unto the Lord. . .

You were made for such a time as this to rise and shine!

No turning back. No giving up. Don't throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it will bring you!

Hebrews 10:35

If life has thrown you a curveball(s) lately be assured that on the other side, (and you will get to the other side), the God of all grace who called you to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus after you have suffered a little while is faithful to perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 1 Peter 5:10

Know that I'm earnestly praying for you in the midst of life's curveballs, when life goes into full speed and even at my rest stops. I give thanks to God for you and make mention of you in my prayers.

Though I haven't been able to blog a lot lately when I do find time and the Lord puts it on my heart I do get in a Youtube video every now and then. Check them out if you feel led and subscribe if you haven't already to stay connected.

I'm prayerfully looking forward to all the Lord has in store for us! I'm seeking His leading and cannot wait to get back to writing, encouraging in the word, and stirring hearts to pray!

Pray you are greatly encouraged and motivated to rise and shine!

Love and prayers,

Shannon
