There are so many potential things to be fearful about in this day and age. But I’m here to tell you that God does not want you afraid of one.
It seems as soon as things appear to be letting up we get hit with something else but God’s will for us is to be brave, courageous, strong, and to place our trust and confidence in Him.
Today I want to encourage you to fear not! There is a place in God available to us that no matter what is going on around us, we can have rest, peace, joy, and security. David knew about this place and longed to be there.
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.
For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
Psalm 27:4-5
When the things around us are shaking we serve a God that cannot be moved. He is the Light in the darkness. Our place of refuge, peace, power, love, and sound mind.
